I had come to realize that my life's not my own
For all the living I'd done, I had naught to show
I came crawling back to the feet of my Father
I was ashamed to approach Him, I shouldn't even bother
I didn't deserve the least of any gift
But with His hand to my chin, my face He did lift
With tears in His eyes, He laid out the call
And said that He loves me just the same when I fall
He made sure I knew, regardless of me, He'd still give
So I handed Him my life, so that through me He'd live
